Meet The Team at IS

Philip Anthony Arroyo, Co-Founder
CEO, Entertainer, Advocate, and All-Around Life Connoisseur, Philip Anthony Arroyo isn’t your typical CEO. His journey winds through the glitzy lights of Off-Broadway, the pulsating rhythms of South American tours with the Latin boy band Havana Boys, and the raw, unforgiving spotlight of stand-up comedy stages — where his greatest joy was making people laugh, even if it was at his own expense.
But Philip’s story isn’t confined to entertainment alone. With nearly six decades of lived experience, he’s seen the world from perspectives most CEOs can’t imagine. From navigating the complexities of housing grants to assisting marginalized communities, he’s worn hats that range from Certified Housing Inspector to Case Manager, always with a relentless drive to uplift others. His leadership is built on compassion, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the systems he works to improve.
And speaking of systems — Philip’s time spent in the “clink” (40 days, but who’s counting?) wasn’t a roadblock; it was a revelation. While some might see incarceration as the beginning of the end, Philip saw it as an urgent call to action: a sign that the system needs fixing. Fixing it just happens to be one of his current three-year challenges.
Philip blends his professional dedication with a sharp wit and a dose of self-deprecating humor. Whether he’s negotiating with landlords, conducting audits, or delivering punchlines, he brings authenticity, resilience, and an unwavering belief in second chances — because who’s better to lead change than someone who’s lived through it all?
With a background that covers every facet of life — from the arts to advocacy, from center stage to center of a jail cell — Philip Anthony Arroyo embodies what it means to be truly well-rounded. And he’ll probably make you laugh while doing it.
